Billy Pizzella, Owner and President of Designs by Billy, has been in the design business for over 28 years. As a young man he started out doing display work and discovered he had a real talent for it. Later he traveled throughout Western Europe where he studied architecture and design. Afterwards he returned home and worked in the Miami Design District of a large upholstery firm where he was the buyer and head-designer. Eventually he opened a showroom in the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA). He still desired a more creative outlet and left to start his own business, which has proven to be perfect for him and his clients. Designing homes from two bedroom condominiums to a 25,000 square-foot home and everything in between. Billy says one of the major components of his success is the personalized service he offers. Clients deal directly with him, and he stays on top of his projects from the beginning to the end. Billy says it is his job to interpret his client's dream and make it a reality. Billy has completed designs all across the country from Washington, D.C., Vail, Colorado and the Carolinas. One of his current design creations in progress is in the Park Penthouse of the Las Olas River House (picture to the left.).
